We are looking for a motivated and creative junior professional (1-3 years of experience) to join our team as a Design & Communications specialist. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for conservation, a knack for visual design, and strong Spanish and English communication skills.  This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development within a mission-driven organization.  If you’re proactive, innovative, and excited about bringing fresh ideas to the table, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

– Internal and External Communications:
Craft and manage communication strategies to effectively engage with both internal and external audiences. This includes writing press releases, newsletters, and other materials to promote our mission and projects.

– Designing Visual Content:
Work closely with the projects teams to design and produce compelling visual content, such as factsheets, reports, presentations, graphics and infographics, that tell the story of our conservation efforts in impactful ways.

– Social Media Management:
Lead the management of our social media platforms (mainly Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin, Facebook and web pages, developing and executing campaigns that raise awareness and engage our growing audience.

– Research and Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in communications and conservation and bring forward innovative ideas to enhance our outreach and impact.

– Technological Proficiency:
Utilize design tools like Canva, Illustrator and/or Photoshop and manage Microsoft Office applications to create, organize, and deliver high-quality content. Familiarity with AI tools and web management/ web hosting is a plus.

The position is part-time (4 hours/day) and in a service relationship (Monotributo).

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or advanced studies (in Design, Communications, Marketing, or a          related field is a plus).
· Proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe programs (Illustrator).
· Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Excellent communication in Spanish and English and interpersonal skills.
· Willingness to travel occasionally and work some evenings or weekends as needed.
