We are looking for a logistician to strengthen our operational team during our summer activities in Norway, Iceland, Canada and Finland.
Reporting to the operational manager, the logistician is in charge of the logistical support of tourist stays, the maintenance and operational continuity of all the equipment at the destination.
The missions:
Logistical support for tourist stays
Maintenance and upkeep of equipment (kayaks, vehicle, tents, small equipment etc…)
Weekly transfer planning and tour preparation
Emergency Management
Reception and support of groups during “non-activity” times. Responsible for the smooth running of these important times of the trip
Position to be filled from summer 2023, home travel – Norway, Iceland, Canada, Finland return journey taken care of as well as accommodation and food for the entire duration abroad.
Training period planned in Chambéry or on site at the beginning of the season.
Profile:
You have at least two years’ experience in the field of logistics
You are passionate about Nordic destinations and have a very good “knowledge of the field” because you have lived and/or traveled there
You have a sense of organization
You are organized, rigorous and versatile
You like teamwork, you speak fluent English
Qualities:
Rigor, sense of negotiation, autonomy, excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and a taste for challenge.
