Mechanical Engineer

Want to be a part of our awesome mechanics team and play an important role in the development and production of concept designs? We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our team!

The role:

In the role as Mechanical Engineer here at AirForestry you will be working with construction of mechanical components and systems. Together with the team, you produce and evaluate different concept designs. You are responsible for choosing the right type of manufacturing processes to ensure fast prototypes and iterations. Further in this role, you will have a close contact with different suppliers.

Need to have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience of working with mechanical design
• High ability to execute concept designs to production
• Experience of building and maintaining successful supplier relationships
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes and the capability to optimize them
• Good communication skills and a natural cross functional team player
• Fluent in Swedish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience working in SolidWorks or similar software
• Previous experience working in forest machinery or aviation
• Previous experience working with carbon fibre
